Did you know that according to the EPA, the environment in your home is 2-5 times more toxic on the inside than on the outside? In my blog "Beauty Buzz", I talk a lot about how important it is to be aware of not only what you put in your body, but put on your body. You might be shocked to know how many unique chemicals you are being exposed to through the use of your personal care products, and also shocked to know that the "cleaning" products we are using could be hazardous to your health. Let's face it, when you grab your favorite counter top cleaner and a paper towel, unless you are wearing a mask and rubber gloves, that stuff is being absorbed into your skin or possibly inhaled. Ultimately, the residue on your counter top is being absorbed into any food you prepare there as well. It is important that we understand what the ingredients are in all of the products we use everyday so we can make informed choices and use products that are safe for our families and our environment.
